Immortal Technique, also known as Felipe Corone, is an MC of Afro-Peruvian descent and grew up in Harlem, New York City. He’s also a political activist and the majority of his songs heavily feature political view points and messages.

His latest release is The Third World, which is more of a mixtape than an out and out album release, but it’s one of the hottest mixtape releases that you’ll come across this year. It also happens to be his first official release in over 5 years and one of the most eagerly anticipated ones too, and it definitely lives up to the hype. Ask anyone into hip hop if they heard the track ‘Dance with the Devil’ and you’ll see them flinch. This is the impact he has on people through verse and not many people can do that. It’s also a release that proves that there are still producers and artists out there who are not afraid to speak what is on their mind for fear of upsetting the establishment. Clifford Joseph Price aka Goldie has been on the Drum and Bass scene for a while now having released his first track way back in 1992 Goldie has been a stalwart of the electronic music scene particularly Jungle and Drum and Bass and has been pushing the boundaries with his label Metalheadz.
