We played in Dundee a while back at the Westport supporting a local band. Unfortunately, there was another gig on that night and only the bands' mates were there.
I must say that the movement from the crowd was pretty good once they got going. Pity there weren't more people, or maybe they would have stood still if there were.
However, the point was that some advertising wouldn't have gone astray. Try getting a load of cheap flyers (better still, short demo CDs with flyers attached) and give them to every kid you can in town on a Saturday. Free stuff makes people want to go to gigs.
