I am irate on account of my band having to pay £90 to play the Cathouse in Glasgow, this coming from tickets we had to sell ourselves (ie we got no money from people who came just to see us and paid on the door).
On top of this, some of the other bands lied as to how many tickets they had sold to get further up the running order.
In effect, we sold the most tickets but were still the openers. This meant lots of folks upped and left to get busses etc. halfway through, so those bands did themselves out of an audience.
