It is possible to fit one, but you will have to saw out a section of your guitar to fit it. Even then it will still be pish because the tension of the gibson necks will be all wrong so the tuning till be all wrong, and there is the danger of snapping the neck!!!
The only thing that may work would be a bigsby trem, but even then, you will still have to drill in to your beautiful Bibson.
If you were to get one fitted, it would have to be done by a professional, which, for major work like that would be expensive. if you want to fanny about with a whammy bar, just get a cheap strat for £100 or so and fit descent pick ups, the build quality will be almost as good as £300(ish) jacksons etc... it will only be the components that differ.
Please dont destroy a nice guitar.
