i think Ive probably made my stance on this clear here before but as its a new thread:

Britain should be a secular state, with no official religion. People should be free to practice their religion in their own home/meeting place without persecution in any way. Schools should have teaching of *a* religion, but teaching *about* religions, as part of a broader cultural education to educate people about different ways of life. Obviously for primary school the morning assembly should be stripped of religion, and in High School this could take over from Social Education and Religious Education.

some people forget our head of state is the head of the church of england and thats the reason no catholic can marry someone in line to the throne.
