US reprimands six for Iraq abuse
Six US soldiers have been reprimanded over abuses against Iraqis held at Abu Ghraib jail, say US military officials.
The reprimands could lead to them being thrown out of army. The abuses, which occurred in late 2003, are said to have involved about 20 prisoners.
Another six soldiers at the jail are already under criminal investigation over alleged abuses against inmates.
Last week, TV images of hooded and naked Iraqis being humiliated by US soldiers sparked widespread revulsion.
