Morrissey on Jonathon Ross last night...

Last night when I was in bed (yes i was at home on a friday night), I was watching Jonathon Ross, waiting for Morrissey to come on. I had never seen him interviewed nor had I ever heard him speak.

Before last night I didnt really know what to expect from him and now I have seen that he is a complete and utter twat!

Fair enough he has problems, but he doesnt need to be so crude.

What really pissed me off was when Jonathon Ross commented that Morrissey was a vegetarian. Jonathon asked him why and Morrissey replied "well I have never heard a good argument for eating meat. Dont say it tastes good because you have to smuther it in seasoning and other flavours." He then said something like "you dont just kill a chicken then rip its leg off and start eating it". Well you dont just dig up a potato and start eating it! You dont just pick a cauliflower and start eating it do you!! (sorry if you are a vegetarian but I personally am not and I dont want to offend anyone who is...sorry. I have nothing against vegetarians!)

He gets away with saying a load of pish just because he is 'thee' Morrissey.

He doesnt even have a sense of humour. The only humour he has is laughing at others and looking down on others. I suppose all that comes from insecurity and I do feel sorry for him but my temper just went mad at him last night.

Dont get me wrong, I do love his music but he's not the nicest guy and he does admit that. He also wonders why people are actually friends with him or why people like him (which I also wonder) but he is a genuine guy when he's not being smart and extremely uppity. He has a very negative view on the world and on people.

He played 2 of his songs from his new album which I thought were nae bawd. I havent heard much of his solo stuff though.

Morrissey is on Jools Holland next week so I suggest watching it just to see how far he is up his own "la fesse"
