theres just no pleasing some folk.
thanks to this compo in dundee bands have played to decent crowds for a change,to folk who prob havnae seen a band since their last wedding,to folk who who refuse to go see a band cause their mates are not in them.
i dont know about anyone else but i fair enjoyed the heats i went to and played,met great folk,enjoyed great music and enjoyed playing to a new crowd who hadnae heard us.
everyone in my band payed £10 each (£40),i got bass string that cost somthing like £20,then drum sticks,+2 sets of guitar strings-that goes over £40!
didnt pay the sound guy,didnt pay anything apart from the folk behind the bar for booze!
And as for it would be better with a panal of judges judging- no no no no no! nothing but conspirisy theorys are dreamed up!
