well as far as i'm aware tongue piercings were originally for men so they could stimulate the clitoris better...most of it is decorative though, and borrowed from all different types of tribally sorta cultures. personally, i really like peircings and getting peirced. although i cannot spell the word. i like the fact that it is controlled pain and i get such a rush from it. most peircings looking pretty, and i would have more in an instant if i could afford to get them done... you have to be really careful about where you go for obvious reasons. gotta hate the overkill though, they should all be balanced and not to aggressive looking.
