I'd bother about the case.. the shocks will help prolong your tubes, esp if you're playing a lot. A sus 4 could cost u over 300 here anyway, and some are obviously willing to buy them.

anyway mine's mint too...

so what'd you do? google for bass 400+s for sale, then when you find one, sign up to whichever forum you dont normally frequent (at the other end of the country in this case), then undercut whoever may be selling? lame..
