You need to get your guitar set up when you change gauge as it adds more tension, which bends the neck more, which puts the intonation ec.. out. This is especially true with floyd rose's.

You should find a gauge u like, get your guitar set up professionally (which will cost about £30) or do it yourself if you know what you are doing, and stick to that gauge.

I use D'addario XL9's on my tele, XL 10's on my Les Paul and Elixir 12's on my Taylor.
