i recently put my bass in at rainbow music to get fixed, (see above for nut question) i couldnt bear taking a chisel to it myself so i thought id get it done "properly".
it cost £30 which was the max i was willing to pay anyway so i expected good results.
what id like to know is. for £30 how well should the job have been done?.
ive noticed that when chiseling out the old nut, the repairman has knocked a good chip out of the neck above the nut at each side, and glued it back down.
is this exceptable? or should i be guns blazin'
