I tend to see it as either appreciating music as an art form or a simple source of entertainment. I think a lot of really popular music sells so much because its easy listening background music to just put on whenever. However, when i'm listening to something I find a bit deeper and a bit more meaningful or whatever I tend so see it more as a piece of art. Same goes for films.
