I think thats where alot of promoters fuck up, it's not the bands fault for not pulling a crowd, its the promoters for putting on a gig that no-ones interested in.

If you really like a touring band and want to put them on but you know no-ones going to show up, you stick them on with local bands that will pull a crowd.

If the promoter fucks up and there is not enough money to pay the touring band, he/she should pay the difference himself.

I think £80 is pretty reasonable for 2 bands personally, why should bands have to lose loads of money on tour because the majority of promoters are incompetent.

p.s. Not saying this guys bands any good or anything...
