As I say, I'm a weird one, I was good at physics, I loved physics, I even wanted to do it at university, but my maths held me back. That said, I'm really glad I didn't because I would never have ended up in the computer games industry, and I can't imagine doing anything else now.

I don't understand how it is possible to hate a subject like maths, while at the same time really enjoying other subjects which use maths so much, and even enjoying using maths to solve a problem.

It's weird, I find it quite easy to learn certain kinds of maths concepts if I have an application, and a way of visualising it. It's a little harder to explain than just "I can understand it because I can see an application for it" though, it's weird.

Luckily I'm almost finished the first version of my demo, so I can start sending it out soon. I just need to get collision detection working, which is the most difficult bit, and the bit I need all this maths for.
