tartanpodcast is good for bands and stuff. i get played quite a lot and as a resulty have sold 8 cd's to USA, 3 to Australia, and 1 to Singapore. Pretty cool.

So how do they work, is it normally a streamed broadcast like a playlist or do people actually go on and do shows.... Or is it a mixture of both? Know anything about the technical side? How do you make the broadcasts? Is it local to one computer one site?
