look out rosanna by toto, thats a half time funk shuffle! Its also one of those beats that are a 'must know'.
And we'll just have to beg to differ i reckon. Whilst John Bonhams footwork is pretty good, put that in hate eternal? Its gonna get down to personal preferance and whilst I do (believe it or not) prefer a well tuned and mic'd kick for dynamics (rudimental bass drum chops anyone? yes please!) I will argue to death that triggers are pretty much a necessity for death/grind/speed/etc... metal. Youd be better to ask purists of their genre for their opinion and reasoning because I can see I'm likely to lose an argument I really dont care that much for. Point is, you tell derek roddy or gene hoglan that they hit like pussies and are sloppy!
THE END!
