That sounds like the guy i saw in the High St one night, he grabbed the collar of his coat and shouted into it "The eagle is leaving the nest, repeat, the eagle is leaving the nest" and ran off down an alleyway.
In Peddie Street we had this twat across the road who threw eggs at every window in our block, from his 2nd floor window). This was about midnight and he kept waking our daughter. We couldn't see where the egs were coming from, so i stood in the shadows in our close and saw him do it. I ran over to his door and the little guys who used to collect money outside the Mardi answered. I told him under no uncertain terms that if the twat in the celtic top didn't stop throwing eggs then I would call the police. So 10 minutes later, another egg hit our window and the police were called. When they turned up they advised me not to go to their door again as the guy who was throwing the eggs was likely to stab me. So anyway, the police went up to give them a warning only to find someone in there with a warrant out on him. They took they guy away in their van and no sooner had they left then the guy started shouting across the street, hanging out his window that he was gonna kill us. The police came back and took him away, a month later they had been moved out. What amazes me is that the guy obviously didn't consider the fact that he would get caught, especially with a wanted felon in his flat.
