Toneking, could you please explain the following to me:

I play air drums in my house, avidly.
Why does my right foot hitting off the floor (regardless of floor surface) sound significantly different to my left foot doing the same. When i am playing 'double pedals', it is important that both 'kick drums' sound the same, mine don't. I have checked my feet and they seem to be pretty much the same to me.
Does anyone else experience similar tuning problems?
