Right so we got this Tascam 488 mk11.

Whilst laying down tracks to put together, we ran into a hitch. While trying to record the bass ( having already recorded the drums and while listening to them through earphones) the drum guide track seems to be bleeding (not over microphones though ) over onto the bass track, plus the bass isnt very loud on playback.

Anyone know how to fix this, we have only slight knowledge of this machine...

Analog, 8 tracks on tape. This may be a bit of a pickle to anyone without specific know-how on this particular model, but any help would be welcome.
