I think you might be routing whats on the drum tracks onto the track you are recording onto. try hard panning the drums left and the bass right when you are recording, i reckon you'll either end up with just drums or just bass on the track. if its just drums try panning the opposite way. look at the bit where you arm the tracks - there should be the option of direct which will be marked with a number or LR (or something like that, i cant really remember)

I'm sure you can work out whats happening from that.
