My mum and dad have bought me NOTHING from my kit thats in my room right now.
Plenty of pop-punk drummers use a double bass pedal.
I don't mind receiving constructive critiscm (although if you want to be a cheeky bastard about it I won't pay attention). I've had plenty of people say they really like my playing as well so I know I'm doing something right.
