FUCK. OFF.
You talk like innovation's a bad thing to champion!
Nintendo probably are undeniably the most innovative 'big' company in the gaming industry today. I accept that there are innovative ideas going on in all 3 camps, but overall, Nintendo at the moment, and indeed in the past, have backed all sorts of oddball titles and ideas, not just for SHOCK VALUE, in a playable, fun way.
Microsoft are as innovative as wearing pyjamas to bed. It's not like they invented online console gaming, they're just carrying off where less successful attempts by Dreamcast and Gamecube left off, but have the financial muscle, today's technology and the fact that most people have broadband these days to make it work.
There is no right answer to this of course, it's all opinion based and I may end up owning all three next generation consoles, but Nintendo being the most innovative of the three big players is an undeniable fact. I know Nintendo will make this control system work, as they have with the DS. I know a lot of games won't use this technology to the full, or if they do it will seem tacked on, but even if maybe 20-30 games in the console's lifespan exploit it to its full potential, I'll be happy, just as I am just now with my current selection of DS games.
