www.warehousesound.co.uk, there is a good one in edinburgh and one in glasgow as well i think, they hire out good kits, ampegs and stuff and pretty reasonable.
actually, i cant find anything about backline hire on their site, maybe they don't do it anymore. give em a call anyway..
