Yeah, it's still gigantic in Japan. The Dreamcast was the best.

I think that it is my favourite console, maybe. It'd be close between that and the Gamecube/DS. I like the wealth of homebrew stuff available for it and the ability to obtain almost any game for it easily online. I never had any of this going on during its lifespan though, I have about 30 or so original games for it, but the ease of copying the games and playing copies by using a small, easily found online iso of a boot-disc, were contributing factors in its downfall.

It's a good one to collect for now, having died relatively recently, and morons at car bootsales selling DCs and the games for really cheap because they're not quite "retro gaming" and it's not cutting edge either. Tesco were selling Dreamcasts for £20 or something equally ludicrous when they discontinued them. Needless to say they were all snapped up by employees.
