hahahahahaha, they are hardly realistic with today's standards but i adored shenmue 2 because to me it was my first experience of an "ongoing world" that existed without the player
Like when you get your first job and literally have to do it, you really had to grind for quite a bit and then "Here's is your 5 dollars, come back tomorrow!"
I feel completely ashamed when I think of the day my ex and me sold ours for about 37 pence to cash convertors so i could get my baby some out of date SMA and 2 fixes of heroin for us.
we sold other stuff to, mostly stolen. nobody in their right mind sells junk for 37p...
