Fair enough. But I think it's a bit shitty to use kids in that way. I mean, local bands are not put on because they are good or because they suit the bill, they are put on because of how many people will come along to watch them. Segaboy, Channel 9 and This Time Tommorow are prime examples of this. Not saying that they aren't good or anything but they were never paid and they brought in the majority of the crowd at every gig.

You have to remeber that bands have the power to say NO.
Most bands just want to play gigs and get there music heard,I admit I think not paying bands is unfair and wrong,but bands will look at this as an oppertunity to play in front of alot of people sell a couple od CDs.
But not paying bands ANYTHING is wrong(charity excluded).Never played a Beat generator gig so this is not directed at them.
