I am NOT advocating cheap gear as being 'better' or anything like that (why would I have spent nearly a grand on my laptop when I could have bought an Acer for £300 if that was the case?)
Scott was right, getting bogged down in all this recording stuff is nonsense. I record a handful of times a year, when I have something that needs recordings. The rest of the time I'm playing live and writing.
The 'home recording' forum is pointless as it's merely a 'my Processor is bigger than yours' wang-fest.
