Right,

heres a post from another website that I post on.

Quote:
I was really disappointed with the film.

At about 40 mins to go I was bored and wanted to turn it off, only sheer determination made he hold on till the end, not a desire to see what happens.

I thought it was too long before the autobots turned up and was disapponted with the decepticons, They had regular Autobots (Optimus, Jazz, Bumblebee, Ironhide) but they only really mentioned Megatron and Starscream. Almost everything the transformers said was either a line from the original ("one shall stand, one shall fall", "roll out" etc) or supposed to be funny, like them learning words from the internet etc.

It seemed like the transformers were a novelty and not the main plot. It felt like the main plot was the love interest, but that wasn't involving enough to be the main crux of the story.

On top of that you had the white girl and the black guy story which was completely useless and only really there to bulk out a weak storyline.

They could have done so much better. I was disappointed.
They fair got their share of boxed ticked anyway.

white lead
hispanic girl
black guy
clever english white girl
robots
USA government being dicks.

sorted.

If anyone actually likes this film I would guess it is because nostaligia is clouding their judgement. The film is shit.
