Casually, I'd define myself as an atheist but this is a silly position to hold for someone who also defines themself as a scientific realist/scientist.
As a scientific realist or scientist I'd be forced to define myself as belonging to the "can't know" school of agnosticism.
Logic dictates that a negative (edit: under certain circumstances, I'd argue that this applies) can never be proven. So strong atheism is pretty illogical.
