You may as well just go the whole hog and start believing in Father Christmas and the Tooth Fairy! It's only a short hop from there to watching 'Crossing Over with Colin Fry'.....and no-one needs that.
It sounds very much to me like you're an apologist for those who call themselves 'spiritual' or want to believe there's 'something more'.
As for other views, ok, that's fine, I'm happy to take the viewpoint that involves material reality and disregards the 'supernatural' as being childish nonsense which we should have left behind a long time ago in the development of our species.
