I kind of picked at a few projects with it for a little while, and then stopped programming in my free time altogether. I cancelled my creators club subscription when it was due for renewal last month.

I have a bad habit of trying to work on these massive, really ambitious projects in my spare time, and not finishing them, because they're far too much work, and I get bored when i get into the middle of a large subsystem that's really tedious to write. It's hard to break the habit though, because when I get into the mood for programming, I get all these ideas for systems I want to write, and I just have to write them, or it bugs the shit out of me.

In the last couple of weeks, I've felt the need to start working on a project again, so I've started work on what will hopefully become a much a better version of the helicopter game I made for my programming portfolio a couple of years ago. (hurf de durf, ambitious project idea)

I've been working on it at lunchtimes mostly, so it's not really got too far yet.

I'd like to do more experimentation with shaders, and writing an efficient graphics engine. My last engine had a lot of really bad things in it performance-wise, that could be done much better.

XNA and C# are really good fun to work with.
