All this pandering to the nonsense that is religion is a waste of time. If I can prove to you that the Bible cannot have all been written by God then you HAVE to admit that Christianity is (in part at least) made up. If it is even partly made up then you have to wonder which bits aren't..... at which point you pretty much have to take the stance that you believe it all anyway (even knowing that it is untrue), or you admit that you are believing something no less ridiculous than thinking fairies or unicorns are real.
So with that in mind, ask yourself this -
Do you agree with slavery?
If you don't then you're in trouble, cos God LOVES slavery!! He gets a TOTAL boner about it!!

So, if you believe the Bible to be the Word of 'God', then you have to accept slavery as being acceptable. If you find slavery to be utterly disgusting, then you have a problem of being in direct opposition to the position of both 'God' and Jesus!
