That's fair enough, but those atrocities were committed because of personal/political/racial beliefs, and the end result was just as bad as any religious war.
I think it was the bigyin who said what difference does it make what umbrella they work under or what reasons are given, as they are all a front for the possession and control of territory or society. I agree with his sentiment.

My posts were intended to point out that science is constantly moving and there are large gaps of our understanding in many fields including quantum physics and medicine. Ok, so my science is not up to some people's levels on here, but I did refer to some interesting studies by recognised scientists in their field, and justified my standpoint.
