You found my arguments unconvincing, so I challenge you to approach Stephen Hawking for his reasoning in the same belief structure, since you clearly have a bee in your bonnet with anyone who isn't a die-hard atheist.
From what I've read he doesn't believe in anything like a 'god', at most he uses the word to describe the way physics seems to work in exactly the same way throughout the universe. That's not belief in 'god'.

So what are you saying? You believe in a 'god' that isn't a 'god', a 'god' that's merely the laws of physics and nature? Isn't that just another word for 'atheist'? Or do you think that a conscious, aware, being created the universe deliberately? If you don't, but still believe a 'god' created reality, why did it do it? Is universe creation a side product of this non-thinking, non-aware being going to the toilet or something? Perhaps this enormous star creature sneezed us out?

Ultimately, what is the point in a 'god' if it does nothing, interacts with us in no way at all, and isn't even aware of its own existence? Wouldn't that make 'god' merely a very powerful, but very very stupid, being? Like a massive retarded puppy or something?

Again I say your ideas are woolly minded and vague.
