A 'god' that has no power, no consciousness, no form, and no interest in ANYTHING? Why! That sounds utterly pointless! And what separates this 'god' from non-existence?

Alex, that sounds very much like Spinoza's concept of God. He talks about God as basically being substance that makes up everything and is also the cause of everything. It's all very overly complicated if you go into any depth but that's the basic jist of it.
