I know plenty. Generally people who are vegetarian/vegan will be healthier than someone who eats a "full diet" (I assume you mean that eats animal produce) because they take more care in what they eat and don't guzzle down loads of shit because they (generally speaking) make their own meals from raw food which has not been tampered with too much.

I'd bet that most people on what you are calling a full diet will probably need to take pills for quite a lot of nutrients that they do not get from the overly processed muck they currently eat.

I'm quite drawn to the argument that Les was making, in that unless you are totally self sufficient, OR you can trace your food back to when it was either a seed or a foetus (I can't think of any other starting points for food, so sorry!) then you might as well not do anything at all. It is a big step to change to a non meat/dairy diet if you have been used to eating these things but if you are gonna change, you might as well do it properly.

Finally, if your gonna be a vegetarian/vegan because of animal cruely, I hope you also make sure that the clothes you wear and everything in your house (including the computer you are using at the moment, unless your on someone elses or on a public computer!) is not made in an eastern country which exploits human workers in a manner which is very close to slavery and is in many cases, completely inhumane torture for the workers who cannot escape these conditions.
