again your personalising it. news isnt meant to be entertainment and shouldnt really involve any emotion. the point in the story was that the kid threw a mental party, it got out of hand and now he's trying to do a runner from his folks(which i agree he is an arsehole for doing) but that doesnt give ms newslady the right to ask him to change his appearance nor the attitude. thats all im getting at, ken?

You do realise thats what I just said and we're in agreement right?
Also the reason why I say right/wrong is because you are probably saying his appearance and her opinion of what how he should act etc isn't the business as a reporter whereas what you kinda said was she had no business asking Qs, which if I'm not mistaken is what Alex jumped on. Course she has a right to ask what happened, even things like what he plans to do and so forth.
