I have a Micro SD card in my mobile which is smaller than my thumbnail yet has more storage capacity than my first desktop computer at 2gb.

Some very quick (and conservatively estimated) maths revealed that I am walking around with the equivalent, in storage terms, of more than 46,000 ZX Spectrum home computers in my pocket.

My 80gb iPod has the same storage as over one and a half MILLION Zx Spectrums.....One of my external drives could comfortably fit over 7 million Spectrums onto it - more than were ever sold globally I'm guessing.

It's mindblowing when you really think about it....
