McCartney & Lennon were very much the brains of the group (unless you meant Ringo). Harrison had his moments, but the most famous songwriting partnership of all time!, wrote the bulk of the songs. It would be ludicrous to suggest that Lennon wrote all the songs and McCartney just dossed about and took half the credit, wouldn't it? Eh?
Even from someone who doesn't really care for The Beatles, I don't understand why there is a so much anti-McCartney feeling. He's done some utter shite (Frog Chorus, Mull of Kintyre), there was that nonsense about him changing the names round for individual song credits and he still uses the word groovy, but that's about it, isn't it?
For those that are a bit more up on the Beatles than I am, why should I hate the man?
