No you weren't.
You said if someone doesn't like the Beatles that makes you suspect they haven't listened to them properly. The implication being that you think that people who
have listened to the Beatles "properly" should like them.
Whereas, above, you're making the infinitely more sensible stance that those who have taken the time to listen to the Beatles with consideration have a more valid opinion than those who haven't, whether they like them or not.
