We went for a Sheperds flat against our better judgement because we were in tight spot at the time, and this is pretty much what we experienced but instead of tiles it was black fucking mould on the bathroom ceiling. It took their handymen three trips out before they actually treated it, instead of just painting over it.
We also reported a worrying crack on the front door that seems to have weakened it, back in August. No word on that yet.
To be fair, they have put in new windows, and have redone the garden (hooray, the rent will be increased for the sake of a nicer garden I don't care about)...
I have to say, it looks like they're more concerned with fixing up the superficial than dealing with pretty serious health and safety.
