I'm no fan of Heston's views, but an intelligent, articulate, healthy man such as Moore making the centrepiece and denouement of his documentary a "debate" with a man suffering from an intellectually crippling neurodegenerative disease, then walking away all smug as if he's somehow proved a point is somewhat disingenuous.

I completely disagree. If an organisation as large as the NRA sees fit for a man with Alzheimer's to run the organisation then surely that challenges your point of view? You also forget that, as with many illnesses, not everyone suffers the effects identically.
