I've started going through tapes of bands I've been in over the last 20 years and thought it might be interesting to share....
In 1996 I was in Kosmische, a Birmingham based guitar band featuring Andy Grewcock on guitar and vocals, Nick Helliar on bass, Mike Cracroft on drums and myself on guitar and vocals. The song writing was shared between myself and Andy, with the whole band doing the arrangements. The lead vocals were also shared between Andy and I.
We recorded three cassettes of stuff, with this one 'White Noise to a Disco Beat' being the final before I moved to Dundee.

We recorded this on a Tascam 424 mk 1 and it was mastered to chrome cassette so there is a little bit of tape wobble and hiss, which is to be expected with something that's been sitting around for 12 years! I ran a tiny amount of eq on it to lower the really high hiss so it's slightly better than the tape.
It's very very different from what I do now, and I'd be interested in what people think.
