Don't get me wrong. If Husker Du were to gig again I'd be there in a shot. But it would be purely for nostalgia. I couldn't imagine any new material having quite the same sense of urgency.

perfect example - I went to see Devo last year and they were fucking excellent live but I could only imagine new material by a band like that sounding like a parody of their glory years.
