Laptops generally aren't very good for games. You might have a decent CPU etc but its the graphics card where you'll suffer. Integrated Intel GPUs are really quite pants. Play a DVD and do all the pretty Vista stuff but forget modern games. Heck even the nvidia 8 series in my laptop isn't that great as it lacks the cooling etc to really perform.
