Magnetic North Pole

This band lasted for ages, and went through numerous members.

Original line-up -

me -guitar and vocals
Robbie -drums
Ronnie -bass and vocals
Miquette -guitar and vocals

Robbie left after the first two gigs and was replaced by John Weir of Gerils, who stayed til the end.

Eventually Ronnie and Miquette both left, and were replaced by Claire Thornton (bass) and Stuart Gillies (guitar and vocals)

The only other person to ever play with Magnetic North Pole was Fraser Simpson, who drummed at our last gig.

I've uploaded 'Dundee Rock City' - the compilation that Press Hat and Cigar released around 2001. There are loads of other things I've got lying around so more MNP will follow.

This stuff was mostly recorded on digital 8 track.

FACTS: MNP was the second of my bands to play T in the Park. We supported Snow Patrol at the Westie, before they went shit. We played so many gigs at Drouthie's that we practically became the house band.
