Penalites are a pretty unfair way to end a game, as if you stuck an average oe between the sticks, and got say Ronaldo to take penalties at them, he wouldnt have a 100% scoring rate after say 100 attempts.
It is part skill, part luck.
I get the impression that even next season United fans will still be bringing up the cup final. Its over, not matter how "robbed" you were, if you'd scored a second goal in before Mark Kerr (clearly also paid off by Rangers) decided to give Boyd a goal, any ungiven penalties would be a moot point.
