Why does everything on this website ultimately boil down to the religion thread? amazing

If you're religious please shut the fuck up about if you know you're going to get the piss taken out of you. I think I had one debate about religion on here and decided it probably wasn't the best forum to share. Actually I've found on a few internet forums it turns into a little bit of a witch-hunt. It's hard to come back from "but you believe in something which can't be proven" without looking like an idiot but such is the nature of faith. Also it's nice when people realise that not all religious people are total fannies.
People can believe what they want and be ridiculed for it too, (hi free speech) doesn't mean you need to greet about it for being 'TROLLED FOR MONTHS ON END ABOUT MY PERSONAL BELIEFS OMG' and then slowly try to get some dignity back by slagging someone for their t-shirts (lol). If you were that comfortable with your personal beliefs you wouldn't give a shit about what someone says.
If you're that religious you'd probably keep quiet about it too, it's a private thing really, not a badge of honour and in the current social climate it's best not to even discuss it with people because people just think you're a nutter!
