if we want to break the habit of people turning up an hour after doors expecting the first band to wait on them then the way to do it is to let them repeatedly miss the first bands by turning up late.

As for making money from drinks, if the westie was concerned by that they would have actually put someone on the bar upstairs (and paid for some light bulbs, and made the gents not a fucking dump, and used plaster to fix the gaping holes on the wall, and cleaned up the paint all over the carpet - I think the Westie is a dump, can you tell)
